FAQs

Find answers to your questions about Bitterroot Heritage Academy and our educational approach.

What is BHA's approach?

Bitterroot Heritage Academy employs a hybrid educational model that combines elements of traditional schooling, homeschooling, and experiential learning. This unique approach allows students to learn at their own pace while fostering curiosity and collaboration. Our goal is to create a supportive environment that caters to diverse learning styles.

Who can enroll?

BHA welcomes K-8th grade students from various backgrounds and learning styles. Our inclusive environment is designed to support every child's unique educational journey. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive in a learning setting that suits them.

What are the class sizes?

Our classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 12 students per class. This allows for personalized attention and fosters a close-knit learning community. Students are grouped by grade levels to enhance peer interaction and support.

How does experiential learning work?

Experiential learning at BHA involves active participation in real-world projects and reflective practices. Students engage in hands-on activities that encourage them to explore concepts deeply. This method not only enhances understanding but also cultivates critical thinking skills.

How to get involved?

We encourage parents and community members to get involved through volunteer opportunities and events. Your support helps enrich our students' educational experiences. For more information on how to participate, please reach out to us.
